ISLAMABAD, April 21st 2018, the 3rd Annual meeting of the National Technology Council (NTC) was held at HEC Headquarters sector H9 Islamabad. Council Members from reputable Higher Education Institutions from all over the country, representative from various Ministries and other Councils participated in the meeting. The Meeting started with recitation from Holy Quran. Executive Director HEC, Dr. Arshad Ali welcomed the participants and appreciated the progress of NTC on Accreditation and Registration. He emphasized on how important the technology education is for the development of the country.
Maj Gen ( R ) Akbar Saeed Awan chaired the second session. On the outset of the meeting minutes of the last meeting held on 13th April 2017 were approved by the Council. The Chairman NTC informed that emphasis of NTC’s efforts was focused on the Standardization of quality technology education, Infrastructure development of HEIs and dedicated faculty in HEIs offering Technology programs at bachelor’s level.
